The Płetwa Foundation brings together scientific research, environmental technology and education. We work for the sea and inland waters, for children and young people, for seniors and for everyone who wants to understand the world around them a little better.
Our areas

Our statute covers science, the environment, marine technology, education, culture and work with seniors. What connects them is the belief that sound knowledge and good engineering can genuinely make the world better.

The foundation can run its own projects, support the work of others and act as a partner in projects funded by national and international programmes. We are not-for-profit: all income goes to our statutory activities.

Just setting sail
A young foundation with a maritime character
The Płetwa Foundation was entered in the Polish National Court Register on 30 June 2026. We invite schools, universities, institutions, organisations and companies that share our aims to work with us on our first projects.
